    Default Anyone using Ku-Band satellite?

    Hello everyone,

I've been thinking about getting a C or Ku band satellite for a while, and after some research over the weekend, I'm sold on Ku-band. However, I haven't played with a dish since about 20 years ago and have no idea if there is any good content available still (for free).

Does anyone know what content I could expect to receive? Comedy Central? News networks? NatGeo/History/etc.? Is it worth $400 is pick up one of these things?

    Thanks!

I agree, also look at the providers who are providing the uplinks. Check with them to see if they provide service to the individual satellite dish owner.

If not serious, I would agree with Apsattv.
