No auto roll. MTN went to PowerVu+ some time back and that is secure.

    False alarm!!

I had a small spider sitting on the LNB pin.
When I rotate the LNB it moves to the other pin and back when I rotate back.
    The spider died!
Better than the bird that over nighted in my Asiasat 5 LNB until I covered the LNB.
That was OK until the poo piled up.

    Original post:
    Has NSS9 been replaced?

I had good working channels, Hope TBN etc, and this morning I find they are all marginal and bricking up or not come through at all.
I went out and changed the skew on the LNB and recovered all channels.

    Is this sat still rotating?

I will try a standard LNB later to see if there is separation from H to V polarity.
I'm using a twin output LNB with separate H and V outputs, with the V open as this gave good rotational signal due to cross feed from V to H.

Lyngsat still list NSS9 as "R" for the TP's. so I think it is still a rotating sat.

The battle between MTN and the set top box makers is round three to MTN.
They were powervu then when powervu+.
That was broken and a few days later they went powervu EMU 2.7.
That was cracked, 2? weeks back, and Friday night they changed again.
There are some reports of some STB makers issuing new software for a fix.

It is interesting to see the STB users moan and scream for new software to crack MTN so they can watch for free.

Net flicks prosecuted a common room (like flatmate here in NZ) viewer who used another residents sign in to watch.
Moaning too loud may bring you trouble.
