So the new frequency is turned on in Auckland?
Maori TV coms person told me that would be "Late August"
Maori TV told SkyTV it would be September.

Please when did this frequency power on?

Thanks for this info. I pressed 160 and 161 on the Sony's remote and the HD hidden channels appeared: Maori TV and Te Reo.

    I have a different channel on Terrestrial 594MHz (C36).
It is a Chinese channel with no audio that is up on an old unnamed channel SID 1410.
The Vpid is 228 and is active but no info for this channel scans in with my generic V8 Golden DVB-T tuner.
My Sony TV has a new channel on the guide list called "Panda".
The Sony TV reports all the NZ channels, even the out of town channels like Rotorua.

Today the two Maori channels that were labeled Test channel 1 and 2 swapped with the extra two channels 16002 and 16003.
The Maori feed is now on 16000 and Te Reo on 16001 with the test patterns on the two called test...
This is found with my combo Freesat units.

Both Maori TV and Te Reo are now HD ex Mt Cargill (Dunedin).

The two test channels have gone.

They keep swapping the channels around.
There are now MaoriTV and Te Reo with 16000 and 16001 (rest patterns), while they have had 16002 and 16003 with test 1 and 2 or a mix there of.
Sometimes the active MaoriTV has been on the test and sometimes on the 1600x.
It has been like music chairs.

Your TV may not show you the test pattern channels like my SonyTV does not.

    Default Yes ..

A Sony TV search found 33 channels, MTV, T R, and two test channels. Now the TV can only find 29 channels including the two HD replacements. The two test channels have disappeared.
