Feral what receiver are you using for this? I was told of this data a while back and it was suggested that its 16 APSK? hence most will have no show in seeing it as a standard receiver won't get it.

    Hi All
Another set of SIDs and VPIDs this morning. Is the tech on the Fosters?

    401,201: 409,201: 480,202: 40A,200: 406,205: 40B,205: 407,208: 408,209

    Got channel names last night.
    Channel9 Perth, Channel9 Perth, 9HD Perth, 9Gem, 9Go!, 9Go!, 9Life, Extra
All seam to be 576 Mpeg Mpeg, The HD has not worked yet and had AC3 sound.

    Also today: 13639 V 15000 8 channels 576 mpeg
    Channel 7 Stuff: Ch-1, 7 Digital, 7 Digital 1, 7TWO, 7mate, 7 Digital, TV4ME, RACING.COM
Got this with a 1200 dish. 900 wouldn't lock on.

A real alternative to the NZ stuff and our childish news.

    Apsattv asked
"Feral what receiver are you using for this?"

I'm getting this with both my Skybox F5s and my Fresat V7. The V7 is new October this year.
I've got a Freesat V8 golden and V8 Angle coming, due next week.
The channel signals are bricking all over. Some are near fully clear and others are not getting sound.
This maybe from the HD slot messing with the other stuff, the techs are clearly having issues, as there has been three sets of SIDs so far.

The BIG dish (4.1m) project needs moving on with this going on.

Is it showing on the receiver as DVB S2? and if so what are the parameters. Along with signal level and quality. It could be that some are using 422 video format

My STB's don't give me that info. I may get it by via USB file and channel editor.
The TP is on and off, 1 ch then 5 ch, then 8 named (with Brisbane this time), then says scrambled or on channels.
The tech is having fun. Must be into the second pack of Fosters by now.

openbox s9 will apparantly do 16 apsk as well as the later genuine open-sky- box as it looks like the clone ones have this stripped out
later open-sky also do 16 and 32 apsk and the mini s2 p vu as well
have looked for 12396 several times today but nothing
12538,12325,12381 all come thru 85-90 so there should be some signs unless in different modulation

    Today I'm just getting some of 12396 v 20106 with a Triax 1.2m dish.
My newest 2.4 sheet metal dish gets less than the 1.2m. Just as well I payed $1 for it.
I will take the Hills 1.2m off Asiasat 4 and try it.
The other Auzzy stuff from Ch7 has been up all morning. 12639 v 15000.

Spent some time today with my Hills dish. The other dishes are 1200 high. I suppose you should use the smaller width, 1000.
The Hills dish is much bigger, 1200 across. Got some channels, sort of, going off 12396v20106.
Late afternoon there was another change of names etc. 9Gem seams to work best and of cause the shopping channel.
Had 12639v15000 all day until 5pm. 8 channels of Ch7 stuff.
Was set up with the hills dish for the house and my room and then 12639 was gone. Always the way.
12396 still looks like its a problem from the other end, but may just be that I need a very good signal for this modern stuff.
Some channels work better on the older SIDs and VPIDs and can't be found with the newer SIDs.
I've had Brisbane, Perth and Melbourne in the names so far, always three of the same.

Will see how it goes tomorrow.

Considering 12398 H is SKY NZ, give the LNBF a tiny tweak, as some of the break up might be due to cross pol signal

    worth trying

What level of signal are you getting?
