Does anyone have any thoughts on this:

Apparently some people in certain regions of Germany, where they have had Digital Terrestrial Television since 2003, have experienced many adverse health effects since DTT began:
"constant headaches, pressure in the head, drowsiness, sleep problems, inability to think clearly, forgetfulness, nervous tensions, irritability, tightness in the chest, rapid heartbeat, shortness of breath, depressive mood, total apathy, loss of empathy, burning skin, inner burning, leg weakness, pain in the limbs, stabbing pain in various organs, weight increase."
Where does the signal come from in Auckland? Is it Orthogonal Frequency Division Multiplex Modulation? It would seem to follow that it is not all good to have intense energy waves simply beamed out over the city/country. Any thoughts?

Are these people living on the Transmitter Antenna tower ??
I don't think that will be a problem in NZ going by the relatively low power of the DTT transmissions and quite remote locations of some of the transmitters

I wouldn't want to live too close to Waiatarua.
As to low power, the current DTT transmissions are being powered at 120% or more of the existing analogue transmissions.

Why not Waiatarua? I am in Mt. Albert, Auckland. Do you know how close that is to any transmitter? Skytower? Also, I wonder how much more than 120% it might go...
Thanks for any feedback.

By too close I mean within a couple of hundred meters. Any more and you "should" be ok. There is probably more EM Radiation in your house off your TV's, computers and microwave ovens.

You get those symptoms from watching to much TV when its broadcast via any medium!
Seriously, these sort of queries pop up from time to time and when you think about it, they dont make much sense. Inverse square law people, the power density drops away at an inverse square rate proportional to distnace from the source. This means you will get many more times more energy from the celllphone in your pocket, than from the tv transmitter that is miles away from you.

I thought that was normal, along with nausea and dehydration
