I've seen plenty of very large UHF antennas pointing to Wellington for UHF TV. Digital terrestrial should be in reach there. Distance is approx 98 miles /158 Km

Eventually I would expect DVB T would be added at Blue Duck
to cover that area

or the kaikoura tv 3 site as it is uhf only.

So far it appears DVB T is only being installed at Kordia sites
