Its an unknown brand seems they sell for $1 or $50 see that someone had asked a question if it supported EPG, no answer had been provided by the trader, would seems it doesn't would make you think twice before purchase in this day an age EPG is standard, the trader should assist you to get up in running since he / she provides warranty an supports the unit, does'nt sound good if EPG is not supported takes the fun away from having freeview.

The most standard procedure is to enter your lnb LO Frequency in the satellite install menu an lnb power set to "on" on the satellite you wish to activate presuming it is Optus D1.

thanks for the reply mate. The box it came in says "EPG with multi-language", whatever that means.
was trying to play with the settings,it has this "edit LNB freq" menu ...what numbers should i be entering here?
at first, i was getting a couple of what it seems to be aussie channels, but when i played with the numbers, i lost it.

The item you purchased is made in china "yes" they often say supports EPG or DiseQc Switching in which they often when put to the test don't, as the saying goes buyer beware.

The lnb freq will depend on lnb that you have either its a standard 11300 or 10750 or "other" try those mentioned.

enter 11300 as your High an 11300 as your LO
same applies if using 10750
