Seems that some importers and retailers think that HD TV is still a cash cow to be milked for ass much as they can.

You have to remember that these are based of RRPs coming from the manufacturer. The retailers aren't going to reduce their margins on this gear when there is insufficient competition.

'Twas in Wgtn's new JB Hifi last Friday and asked about when they were getting the Zinwell PVR in stock, and if they had an idea of the price - at that time it was not showing in their system at all, and no idea on price. Hopefully this will change soon...
