Using Prime only install card in other receiver

Hello, I was talking to a guy recently who had the Prime only satellite+receiver installed at his bach and has taken the card home and is using it with a CAM(?) in his satellite receiver to get Freeview+Prime.

I'm not completely up with the technical stuff, but what CAM (if that's what I would need) would I need to buy for this to work. And where can I get it?

I think the receiver he is using is pretty similar to the one I have, mine has a slot to put a module in.

There are no NDS cams so he must be doing it either in another sky decoder or via a computer. Why don't you ask the "guy"

He may have a dreambox which is basically running linux with a software "cam" (not hardware one) which works

are you thick or what . kslice said he had a box the same as the beach guy so how can you suggest that he is using a computer or dreambox,
what seems more logical is that prime is not encrypted with nds so basically any cam would work.

are you thick or what prime is a sky channel so of course its encrypted with NDS

and you must be thick if you cant do it but we cant talk about that on this forum

LOL Classic :D KSlice simple sounds fishy as suggested already why had you not just asked the guy instead of asking here..reading between the lines as you have spoken with him ( this guy ;)yeah right !:rolleyes:) as you appear to be on a fishing expedition one would think you would have asked him yes this guy first, why here as none here are interested in NDS of Prime, please Let Us All know when "sky" intends to make "Prime" true fta then an only then we all maybe interested.

Yes,
You can get NDS cpable cams but they are hardish to get and a bit pricey.:aspetta:
