First up, ensure you have a good UHF reception . Plug a regular TV into the antenna you intend to use and tune in Prime. If Prime will not tune then I would sort out why, before going any further.

If you get a good reception, then it is very likely your terrestrial will be fine.

Report back, as I do not have the stick you talk about.

Others on this forum might help out, but check your UHF reception first.

He didn't say if he had the correct software for NZ
maybe just Mpeg2 which wont be much use

hi Kiwisteve & Kiwisat, thanks for coming to my rescue!

prime tunes in okay., and yes you are right I have mpeg2 installed.

I have installed core codec, is that correct? I am still not receiving anything :( :o:mad:

i have installed mediaportal, it detected the TVideo card but no channels were detected in the scan.

Check Channel spacing is on 8 megahertz rather than 7

i think i've got the channels showing but i am now lost again. do i have to load the epg and map the channels?
