I have tried tuning in the various Oz TV signals from Optus C1 at 156.0°E (Aurora TP3 12407 V, TP 3, SR 30000V) but can't find anything other than a TV promo test signal for D2 and sports 927 radio. Has something changed? I am sure a few weeks back ABC, SBS, SCTV, BTV, CH7 and some other FTA radio were there. Have they turned off signals to NZ. Any ideas anyone?

There are 4 scrambled channels ( 3 SBS and Ch 7) which were FTA very briefly about 4 weeks ago. Sounds like you got lucky at just the right time, but all locked up again now.

Thanks for your reply Kiwisat. I never saw them FTA, just listed as encrypted in my list of scanned services, but now they don't come up when I re scan Optus C1 on my Dreambox 500S receiver. Are they still there as encrypted?

I must have mucked up with the C1 automatic rescan. Can you please confirm that C1 TP3 12407 V, TP 3, SR 30000V is correct for this Oz stuff. Also can you please advise if my LO settings are set correctly with 11,300 set for Hi, Lo and Threshhold?

Kiwisat is correct, there are 4 scrambled channels but infact there is only sort of 2. CH7 is 1 channel and SBS nationwide and SBS south eastern are one in the same. SBS wa is 2hrs behind SBS south eastern due to the time difference between Eastern OZ and Western OZ which is good sometimes if you miss the start of something on SBS SE just wait 2 hours until it is on in western oz.Also I haven't seen anything any good on BTV1

I can confirm your settings are correct, but the LNB settings are up to you. The Info Channel is FTA so you can test your LNB settings with that channel. Beware an identical TP lurking on D2, as you may have hooked it in error. The sats are very close and D2 is more powerful.
