compro videommate u2800f usb,
when used thru dvbviewer lower 2/3 of screen blocky or goes blocky when rapid scene changes, originaly i thought that this was a lack of proper signal, so i upgraded the uhf aerial , better analogue but still blocky dtt, also cpu's running at 90% enter the hauppage dv900h
perfect no blockies or drop out,cpu 30 to 40% for std def and 65% for hd . conclusion the compro videomate u2800f doesnt seem to be able to decode mpeg4 video above 5mb/s
any ways after yesterdays big blow my UHF got blown round by 180' and i thought there goes the hd but amazingly all dtt channels looked ok but analogue was unwatchable. so after spending many hours and searching forums for answers the real problem lay with the hardware namely a u2800f tuner. my advice if you are contemplating a htpc setup don't use a compro videomate u2800f . :
