Quick reviews of movies I've watched recently, and ones I can remember from a while back.

Rambo 4 -2008 - Latest in the Rambo series and is the best yet in my opinion. Full of blood, violence and people losing limbs all over the place.

Crank - 2007 - One of the best movies I've ever seen, if you want action you want this movie!! After about the first ten minutes it's action the whole way through. Reason being, the main actor has been poisoned and the only way he can stay alive is by keeping his adrenaline up. This includes killing people, driving his car at insane speeds through the city, doing drugs, and even having sex in public! A must watch movie for all you action fans.

Shooter - 2007 - Watched this movie this morning, and I must say that I was impressed. It's about a guy who is a professional sniper shooter and gets blamed for an assassination attempt on the president, I was glued to the TV the whole way through and I love the way the movie was set-out.

Half Baked - 2006 - A really funny movie for all the potheads out there :smoke:. Dave Chapelle is the main actor and we all know how funny he is. 3 guys, 1 goes to jail so they steal a whole lot of weed...you get the picture ;). Funnier with a bunch of your mates, and of course, while under "the influence".

Jumper - 2008 - Jumper is a refreshingly different movie in its own sense. Was a nice change to all the killing/gruesome movies I've been watching lately. It's about a guy who has the ability to 'jump' (teleport). He can go anywhere, anytime. Weather it be the top of the Eiffel Tower, Siberia, or even the top of the pyramids in Egypt!

Superbad - 2008 - Ok where do I start on this one....HILARIOUS, one of the funniest movies I've seen in years!! I was in stitches through some points in the movie, the whole thing reminds me of how I was when I was younger. Definitely a must watch, guaranteed laugh!

SAW 3 - 2007 - Most of us know all about the SAW movies and know what they entail. For those that don't, I hope you have a stomach on you cause these movies are SICK!! Certainly not for the faint hearted or those scared of seeing a little blood.

SAW 4 - 2008 - SAW 4 is the same kinda of concept as SAW 3, including all the goreyness. Right from the get go SAW 4 starts off disturbing, the first image you see is of two guys cutting a skull open and removing a brain. Need I say any more?? If you watch this movie at night home alone, expect nightmares...

I Am Legend - 2008 - I really thought this movie was going to be better than it was. I was quite disappointed. The ending was the shittiest ending I've ever seen on any movie, it basically just stops and you get left wondering how why and what. It's an ok movie but they killed it at the end, must of been a Friday...

Beerfest - 2006 - This one's for all the beer lovers out there. It's basically about some guys who make a drinking team against some Germans who are 'pro drinkers'. Very funny movie.

Beowulf - 2008 - This movie wasn't really my cup of tea, I'm not really into the whole 'fantasy' type movies. The graphics are amazing though and you can tell alot of money has been spent.

The Eye - 2008 - This movie is about a girl who is blind and gets an eye transplant. The problem was that her donated eyes are from a lady who had severe psychological problems and could see dead people. So now the guy who received the transplant can see the dead people and everyone thinks she's crazy. Quite a good movie, especially because Jessica Alba is the main actress, and we all know that she's easy on 'the eye' :).

Lars and The Real Girl - 2008 - About a guy who has a relationship with a sex doll. He genuinely believes that she is real and the whole town goes along with it to make him feel good. It's a comedy/drama, has its funny moments but more so a drama.

Halloween - 2008 - The latest in the Halloween series. It's the last in the series, but really it's the first. It is how Mike Myers started off as a killer, from when he was a kid. Great movie.

The Heartbreak Kid - 2008 - Ben Stiller plays a man who marries the woman of his dreams. So he goes on a honeymoon with her, only to discover that she's an absolute bitch. It's quite a funny movie.

The Devil Dared Me To - 2008 - An absolutely hilarious New Zealand comedy about a kid who grows up with the dream of being a stunt bike rider. It stars alot of the cast of the classic NZ TV show Back Of The Y.

Bullets, Blood and a Fistful of Cash - 2007 - Alot of action in this movie, was pretty enjoyable. The only thing I didn't like was how there was about 20 guys shooting at the main actor and he didn't get shot once....bit unrealistic.

Little Miss Sunshine - 2007 - I was at my mates house the other day and he had this DVD from the video store so we watched it. I really thought it was going to be crap because I based my first judgment on the case and the homo sounding title lol. It was actually pretty funny and quite witty. If you get the chance, it's a good watch.
