The HSM075 indicates that it can receive Optus D2 satellite channels as well as D1.

As D2 is at 152E and the D1 location (which the dish is aimed at) is at 160E, is it possible to get D2 reception without re-orientation of the dish?

If so, can the HSM075 be set up so that re-tuning is not required when changing from D1 to D2?

I now have a spare dish with LNBF for D1 after getting Prime installed (they said that I would have to take the full Prime package [dish, LNB and decoder], making the original dish/LNBF redundant.

Cheers

Aim the spare dish at D2. Connect the two lnb's to the receiver using a diseqc switch or tone switch.
In the Hills menu there is an option to show other channels/sats wich must be enabled.
Tune the D2 channels by setting the diseqc/tone option in the menu's as well.

You will need to split the signal from your D1 dish two ways as well. One to the sky decoder and one to the diseqc switch.

Hope that gives you something to start with.

Also might pay to use a multiswitch because the FTA channels on D2 are on the verticals,

Sky only use 156/160E. No plans to use D2 unless D1/C1/D3 Failure and even then D2 would move to either location.

Thanks

Gives me more detail on what I thought might be possible.
