View Full Version : AsiaSat 4 Reception in Hamilton

Hi there

I'm just wondering if it's possible to get the AsiaSat 4 KU signal in Hamilton. I can't find a coverage map on Lyngsat. I have a 2.7M solid dish with combined C & KU LNB, and a 1.1M offset with KU LNB (my preference to use this as it's only my C1 back-up dish for rain fade).

Any help much appreciated.

Yes the Australasia beam, e.g Australia+NZ the 1.1M offsett should get it. Lot of feeds on there lately.

what time of day is best for as4 feeds as when i look i find nothing :confused::confused::confused:

Hi Falcon Just to give you an idea I am using a 75 cm on a moteck for DaAiTv on Asaisat4 in Auckland so your 1.1m shouldl stroll in. Be aware the skew is way off from Optus sats. Try 6 0'clock position for the LNB to start with and see how you go. I have yet to try to pick up feeds from Oz on Asiasat4 but found that events in Adelaide/Perth have used D1and D2 on a regular basis. Happy hunting.

AS4 Ku Band is valid when Australian sports r shown on Paytvs.
it is just a temoprary feed. try 1900 AEST every night n weeknds

I just installed a 100CM dish to get asiasat4. Unfortunatly I am not getting anyting.
I want to get any channel from AS4. Could you please let me know the direction and elevation and acew.
I have tried 274 from magnativ north, elevation 18.
But not getting anything.
I tried to rotate it to D2, its good.
but I turned to AS4, not picking up any.

Much appreciate your help.
