Shall we start a little contest? distances to be measured using Google Earth pin from antenna to transmission site.

Reception is to be "regular" not atmospheric enhanced such as summer Troppo or E's.

List, site, transmitter, distance, google earth location / G.p.s and of course antenna/equipment details.

hi all :D first up LONG TIME lurker, first time poster.......DTT from Wharite to Aramoho, Wanganui, according to google earth 78.40 km's. But i cheated, using masthead amp and 43 element uhf aerial 6 feet above the top of my chimney on a pole. According to dvb viewer when it scans it says 90 % signal strength, and 100 % quality when using another programme. I find that hard to believe, due to distance, as my analog reception is poorish on maori, prime. Does any one know of any signal/quality programme that i can use to get a more accurate measurement
