The cards are not sold in New Zealand as they are for viewers in Australia who have limited terrestrial tv reception. Even then viewers must submit various forms filled in by their installer saying signals are below certain levels. In order to have certain channels enabled.

I find it amazing that someone is selling Dreamboxes on Trademe with the Aurora keys already in it and getting away with it... that is so far past illegal... it just staggers me really that he is getting away with it..

Google is your friend on finding the keys though, it's hard to miss them really.

Most of the Aurora channels are available free to air, Lyngsat has the details no there site, but are on more than one bird so you would need a few dishes or a T90 if you only have the one dish pointed at C1 it's buy or make a card.

I don't imagine the scottie will still be waiting 2 yrs from when he posted, for an answer. Plenty of Aurora cards on E bay. BBC Asia world service FTA on Intelsat 5, no card required.

rather. Though I expect we'll have plenty of warning. They'll have to do a big PR campaign etc, especially as a lot of the Aurora users won't have changed stuff for years. Case and point is that the Irdeto 1 cards still are up and running, despite them threatening to close it for many years.

I used to love watching the Qantas in flight news on the business tv channel which is now IR2 encrypted. Here are some screenshots of them.

Are you wanting to watch V8 Supercars by chance?

Who are you asking? I have noticed on Ch7 on Aurora it isnt even live anymore when they showed the Hamilton V8s. I watched the V8 feed off d1 instead.
