I found my card went down for about two weeks, thought it had gone for good. Powered down my PVR for about 4 hours, plugged back in & viola! Back again.

Tried all that even threw an active card in there and that went,

False alarm.. I moved the dish round on the motor a wee bit and away it went.
Appears the 156E splash screen was workin but there was not enough signal to get the card workin

All good now:):)

Has anyone else tried top get D1/C1 on 64cm Triax dish.
Had a play at weekend with some interesting results. Could only get an average result when dish was aimed at C1 with D1 offset. When aimed at D1 i could only get D2 on the second lnb. I guessing the spacing is not big enough and D2 12407 was coming in over
C1 12407.

Gammy knee and failing battery power on spectrum analyser prevented anymore playing around.

Has anyone used the 76 cm triax's?

What sort of LNB and holder are you using ,, it should work fine

Two older satmax branded lnb's on an old holder triple plate of their design. The lnb's are parallel to each other and not angled in at all on this older plate.

All i can think of is if its a triple its probably designed for a 76cm with a different focal point

The Sky Dual sat LNBs could suit your purpose. They have a 4 deg seperation optimized for a 55cm dish. Otherwise you need to get hold of 2 Sharp 11300 LNBs and strap them close together. I suggest the Sharp because a: It has a narrow profile, b: A long throat to allow clamping devices for dual brackets, c: Allows for Optus skew. I can post a photo of the arrangement if you are interested. I still use D1 as prime as that would likely be the default in heavy rain.

Yep, put up a photo. Do you know who sells the Dual Sky LNB's?
Hills don't seem to list them.

Only available through sky and they only have a small throat so wont fit onto your triax dish

Best bet is to get a dual LNB holder from Satmax to fit your dish, or build your own with an 8 degree spacing,

Isn't it 4 degrees for D1/C1?

Hi
As a company that olny installs Triax dishes, I can tell you that D1/C1 on a 64 wont happen nor will it happen properly on a 78. You have to have the 88 when it works a treat with little or no rain and snow fade. While you are there bung an LNB up for D2 and IS8. :_fiu:

You can get D1/c1 on a 60cm dish. Sky do it with theirs. I have done 3 sats on a 60cm hills dish. I have had 5 sats on an old Ihug 90cm.
