Newbolds 100% has them in stock. Picked mine up on Friday and it's working splendidly.
Quick note, though. There's a little red light on the front that tells you the box is off. When the box is on, however, there's no light. Stupid design if you ask me.
Also, do NOT pay over $400 for the box no matter what. DSE has them advertised for that but the others haven't caught on yet. I told the guys at 100% and they took it down to $400

i have been into the local retravision shop and spoke to the owner of the shop about their sales of dtt gear. his reply " we have sent all our stock of zinwell 620's back as no one is buying them ", a further look around his shop and i found a brilliant hi def display and i asked him where the picture was coming from " a sony blu ray player. " there are two other retailers where i live a dse branch and a betta electrical outlet. dse are selling their own brand but do not have a working display in the shop. betta electrical have no hd stock and their displays are from dvd's .
we are now 3 months into the dtt service and at the same time point freeview satellite had over 40,000 viewers . i would hazard guess and say that the customer base for the terestrial dtt service is probably in the hundreds not thousands .
i think free view backed the wrong horse with terrestrial hd and with the eminent arrival of sky's satellite hd offering there will be even less takers for terrestrial hd service. why would any one buy a stb for free view hd when all the hd content currently being broadcast will available on sky.
tv ones programming for the olympics will mostly be sd on their main channel "one " with specilised events in hd on the terrestrial platform.

Well down here two of the local outlets have in store displays and report they have sold many DTT boxes .
The other thing is that many people see SD on Freeview and find the picture more than adequate for their requirements
But its early days yet for DTT lets be critical in 12 months time not just a few weeks after its launch !!

so where you live uhf transmissions are fairly reliable , whereas here on Waiheke island uhf is only obtainable by about 25% of the population.

freeview|HD is supposed to have an additional infill transmitter for Waiheke to provide close to 100% coverage.

First up TVNZ's HD content won't be on Sky's playform.
Secondly would you be happy with an analogue switch off that forces everyone to install a satellite dish. I still know a lot of people who don't want a dish on their home.

openmedia quote "First up TVNZ's HD content won't be on Sky's playform.
i never said tv ones hd content would be on sky's channels what i said was " when all the hd content curently being broadcast will available on sky " i emphasize currently not what will be in august.
Secondly would you be happy with an analogue switch off that forces everyone to install a satellite dish. I still know a lot of people who don't want a dish on their home.
bring it on i say .
good to hear that you personally know 800,000 other kiwis who have analogue aerials. what about the 950,000 other people who have a satellite dish , surely the majority have spoken.
oh and by the way if one infill transmitter was going to give 100% dtt to waiheke why then does telecom have 5 cell sites on waiheke, and i still dont get coverage . in the last 5 years i might have installed about two uhf aerials , whereas sky on the other hand have been installing dishes on a daily basis here for years.
