For those looking for mheg5 HDTV terrestrial equipment. Look for stuff designed
for HONG KONG. I'm not saying its %100 compatible as nothing ever is..

Example below..

Is the DMB-T system they use compatible with DVB-T? I didnt think it was.

As far as I'm aware DMB-T is not compatible with DVB-T, so I wouldnt expect any of these devices to work here.

Its similar to DVB-T, but not compatible. My Hong Kong users are grumbling about the prices they've been having to pay for DMB-T capture cards for their PCs. They're not able to just use a DVB-T device instead.

I guess they changed their minds after that announcement in 2000 and instead went with DMB-T, which was developed only recently.
