I think its going to be very necesary to have our own forum as we go through the changeover to digital.

Well done Craig and Crew , this NZ only forum comes at a time where , the industry in NZ is going through a rapid period of change. People must ask if they have a question there is a good deal of expertise with in these ranks, however these people are also busy as well, so questions that are meaningful would help all .

As we go into DTT next year alot of the old ideas along with the equipment will be history. I was lucky to have been part of the Digital trials conducted by TVNZ and lot of the problems we encountered with MPEG 2 will no doubt appear when MPEG 4 makes its debut next year.

All good stuff, shame Nelson won't be getting DVB-T, at least initially, but then again the MPEG-2 DTT box I brought over from the UK wouldn't be any use anyway!

As other posters have said, thanks for setting up the forum, and great to see something NZ-specific.

But i think there needs to be a size limit otherwise we will end up with 3 posts per page as the avaters way to big

MrElectricity

Great to see the forum, hopefully DVB-T will bring what we have been hoping for in terms of the first HD services offered in NZ.

Hopefully by this time next year I will have been busy installing ( Sky will probably have something to say about that though as per usual :( ).

Can we please get a favicon for the site so that it doesnt just get the white page on the tabs?

It must be time for Apsattv to get a Avatar happening for himself. Pick something fun like your Vetrun one.
