look at your poll 72 visits and 11 votes. now if we were to take a poll on who would be prepared to pay under $200.00 for a dtt stb then im sure the result would be different . this is new technology and there is only one other country broadcasting in the same format. so naturally the first stb,s will be dearer . as more manufacturers get on board the prices will come down.

Got mine for $399 when they first came out, exactly the same as the Zinwell one but the DSE version gives you a free HDMI cable! :D

Zinwell 620 HD $499 at noel lemming dse 620 $299 .
thats a price drop of $300 in less than 5 months for the dse . competition must be having an effect. the cheapest hd dtt box at the moment retails for $285

The DSE box was never sold down here at the highest price
was $399.00

From the boxes I have tried so far the Zinwell has the best downscale from HD to SVHS for recording on the HHD recorder

But I must say the Sony TV has quite a good SD out from the CVBS monitor
socket as well ( while watching DTT )
