Looks like Sky are starting to turn the analog off. In Blenheim all uhf customers are getting upgraded to digital which is odd because they get their signal from Wellington. Maybe DTT is interfering with their signal ???
can anybody shed some light on this Steve.

Might be that they make more money off satellite subscribers..
Maybe they will come and remove the UHF antennas so they can't watch Kaukua DTT :D
Does anyone have access to an up to date transmitter site info map of the south island?
They seem hard to come by these days.

Sky have been sending letters to Uhf customers offering some good incentives to do so, they are also moving some sports from Sky Sport 1 to the other sport channels inaccessible from the Uhf service.
The push to move Uhf customers to digital does seem to be working well from the workload.

We do not remove any aerial system when installing digital. Leave it as you found it.

We've had to go to numerous customers that have had their vhf/uhf signals literally cut off by installers of sky digital. Installer saying that now you've got digital you don't need that old aerial. People also been told that FV decoders won't work off a sky dish.

I think I know what the situation is. The tvguide mentions the Warriors games are not on Sky 1 this year. So they are offering free upgrade to digital to those UHF viewers.
