Can someone please tell me how to identify a KU mesh dish? I'm assuming (although I may be wrong) it's a smaller hole size than a C band mesh dish due to the shorter wave length & amplitude of KU. Does anyone have some specific information to help me identify a mystery dish?
Thanks in advance

Usually Ku are solid offset dishes, mesh prime focus are usually used for C band but a Ku LNB could be fitted to a mesh dish or even a combination Ku/C band. Do you have a pic of the dish you are talking about?

If you can't fit a pencil through the mesh it should be ok for KU. As long as the structural design isn't flimsy.

Thanks Craig, I'm going to try to get Aurora on NA beam. My current solid isn't big enough. What's happened to your web site - I can't get it since last week?

Orbitron used to make a Ku rated mesh dish. I still have one !!! :D:D

Hi Steve
Any chance you could measure the hole diameter of that orbitron KU mesh?
Thanks
