The local hams have setup a Repeater on Channel 39 Analogue Vertical from MT Campbell. Test signals are on air.

If you get Prime or Trackside from Mount Campbell you should have no problem picking it up.

Steve get back to Otaki beach :D

Yes our radio club got them a Barco exciter for ch 39
not sure on what the PA stage is .
Will have a look from one of our local hills plus home

Hmmm... not quite as powerful a signal as Prime!

Audio is OK-ish, but the picture quality is nearly non-existent for me...

I think I heard that they are useing one of Primes spare antennas on the Mt Campbell mast.

This is just a hobby for a few locals and has no commercial gain

They are even talking about transmitting NASA TV

Hey, it wasn't meant to read as a complaint!

Would be nice to see a return of NASA TV without requiring a 300m dish! ;-)

Time for a new UHF aerial perhaps? When I get round to getting on the roof again, perhaps I'll take a look at the existing ones (one for Prime, the other for some of the Mainland channels).

Some years back our group did a run of 10 element ch39 only and MRF901 masthead amps made a huge difference
