We have been having major problems with our UHF radio mics.
It turns out that DTV 59 is right on the frequency used by our system.
Freq 774.000000 MHz - 782.000000 MHz 46.0 dBW From Kaukau
This is right in the middle of our UHF Mic band. And renders about $20.000 worth of kits and pieces useless.
The frequency band allowed for UHF Mics is 646 MHz to 806 MHz
48H TVNZ 687.25- 693.1 (the frequencies are based on the analogue versions of the of the channels listed and could differ slightly)
50H TVWORKS 703.25 - 709.1
59H KORDIA 775.25 - 781.1
On a personal note I'm looking forward to some HD goodness or at least a good clean SD signal as my analogue VHF-UHF come from 3 different directions depending on the channel.

Thats bad luck
hope they are freq agile so you can move out of the way ,
the rights for wireless mics in that part expires in 2010
but you will probably be forced out by other sigs anyway

16 mic channels but the all fall within the range of DTV channel 59. So no getting away from it with the kits we have.
Other brands use slightly different frequencies but it is probably only a matter of time before they get jammed out too.
At least it's not coming out of my pocket (It's the taxpayers pocket:p) but there are Sound contractors out there that are small time operators. At about $3.000 for a half way decent kit that's allot of money to loose.
I have herd that some users like aerobic instructors are really ropeable.
After researching the RSM site (boy is that a piece of work!) I found that licences are only good until 2010 as well. What happens then?
So far I haven't come up with an alternative. It's rather pointless buying New UHF kits.
We moved from VHF because of the interference from Kaukau for a start.
And not enough channels to go around
Ohh the irony!
