Is it plugged into a satellite dish? you also need a satellite dish aligned to Optus D1

Hi Apsattv,

Thanks for your reply. Yes i have plugged it into the wall socket which is connected to the satellite on the roof. How would i go about aligning the dish to this Optus D1?

regards,
Anu.

If the Dish was used for Sky it should already be aligned to D1?

Perhaps the LNBF has failed?

Lots of reasons it might not be getting any freeview anu, all the way from a faulty stb, incorrect settings in the stb, broken cable between stb and dish, dish not looking at optus D1. It's a bit difficult to resolve without test equipment as ALL these things need to be right before you get many clues. Got a multimeter and a ladder?

I would check your settings for the lnb and try 10750 as it is probably set to 11300 or vise versa. There may also be a power to lnb option you may need to turn on. Just had the same problem today with a friends one, its fine now. Good luck.

The LNBF is the white thingy on the end of the sky dish...that the cable conects to.
