I need to source a USB Tuner stick and head over to Kaiteriteri or Motueka. For a signal test. Or my brotherS place up on the port hills.

So if you go to otaki beach again.. You should have the choice of either Wgtn or Wharite mux, right?
same freqs but different pols?

Yes thats true in fact that could be a good test as sig levels would prob be similar . But the channel loading was slightly different from Wharite than KauKau there were no Kordia Regional reserved but of course the KauKau lineup may have changed too in the last week
