EPG not loading

I have a Hills STB and after being away for a while, i found that when i switched on the STB, the EPG button only shows "Loading" on the TV and locks up the remote. No programme details display. I have tried cutting off the mains, unplugging and reinserting the connectors. Rebooting and a few other things, all unsuccessful in getting the EPG to work.

Has abyone any suggestions?

Go and buy another brand of decoder.

As mentioned best to buy a descent unit, the brand you have is not.

Yes I have had similar problems so used the teletext prog guide instead
but I have now changed to DTT with much better results all round

I did do a complete reinstall from scratch which seemed to help
