Does anyone know yet what the 2010 winter Olympic coverage on Sky will consist of in terms of HD content? The games run from February 12-28 which is not that far away. I assume Prime will need to move to Freeview soon as well - its a bit of a strech for them to claim nation-wide free to air coverage. The UHF coverage does not seem to be very good and the option of buying a sky decoder to get one channel hardly seems to fit with the IOC requirements for free to air broadcasts. I will definately be writing to the IOC if I don't hear some news about Prime on FreeviewHD very soon. I love the olympics (winter and summer) and have an expectation that I will be viewing many hours of winter bliss in HD.

Just an update - I had a look at the IOC information and they require a minimum number of hours to be broadcast free-to-air as part of TV deals. Free to air is defined as...
sent unencrypted and may be received via any suitable receiver
This would mean that Prime UHF would qualify (other than the very poor coverage) but the satelite version would not as sky encrypt all their channels.
The IOC charter states (in section 49, paragraph 1)...
The IOC takes all necessary steps in order to ensure the fullest coverage by the different media and the widest possible audience in the world
Leaving everyone with Freeview without any coverage would not really meet their normal standard.
