:confused:Whats the difference between the DTT channels?
I get really good TV3 PLUS, but the other channels really hammer my CPU and I get some pixelation (probably because of the hammering).
Why is TV3 PLUS so different?

I am using the FFDShow encoder for h.264

TV One and TV 2 are 720p

TV 3 is 1080i

C4 and TV3 PLUS1 are 576i

The higher the resolution the greater the CPU requirement. For TV3 you really need a hardware solution rather than ffmpeg.

Thanks - that makes sense.

That's kinda annoying that TV3 PLUS doesn't have exactly the same specs as TV3. It doesn't broadcast in dolby and you have to use the overscan option to get rid of the annoying white blips at the top of the screen. Why would they do it this way? Why not have identical specs?

TV3+1 is Standard Definition and a cheap way out of providing an extra channel :D:D:D
