Hi All,
I was just rung by a friend who was worried that his new X series Bravia was playing up with the picture on TV2. He noticed that there was a horizontal line roughly around half way down the screen. I proceeded to turn on my Zinwell Pvr and noticed that the line was there as well on my screen during Lost.
Has anyone else noticed this problem? It stands out quite badly when there is alot of movement.
Oh and my friend was happy that his tv was fine:)

I can't check it here..
But last time i saw a line causing a problem onscreen it was on Prime TV on Analog. After much "no problems blah blah blah" from Prime/Sky
The nice man at Prime mailed me back to confirm the issue was to do with a software glitch to their onscreen graphics and only certain tv's were effected.
Due to the corruption being below the overscan region on most sets.

Hi,
i have the same problem, just started about a week ago and i have a Wseries bravia. its definitely a reception thing as i tried it on a non lcd tv with an external HD tuner and it still does it... so its definitely signal based. I have a guy upgrading our UHF aerial and cable (as both are about 30 yrs old) to see if this gives a fix... so its not a sony problem at this stage anyway.

Glad to hear that they are working on it. Have had quite a few friends complaining to me about it.
