I amliving in Newlands. I have DSE, Terrastrial receiver. New UHF antenn and New cable directly connected.
I am getting some cahannels good. But one or two gives freezing picture or pixalation. I think, one channel is good means antenna direction and all connections are good, then all channels should be good.
I camnnot understand why one is good but while another one is bad.

Much appreciated your help.

What street do you live?

Also, do you know where you get your VHF (TV1-3) analogue signals from?

Some areas under the 'shade' of Kaukau have been known to pick up signal from Fitzherbert above Naenae on UHF analogue as well.

Howdy .
Newlands in most cases would be on Mt KauKau for DTT .
you should have a UHF antenna Horz polarity pointing at Mt Kaukau .

Check when you scan the channels either on AUTO or Manual
that it loads 48 50 and 59 and also the signal and quality bar readings
of each of the 3 uhf channels should be very similar . easy to check by going to MANUAL scan and set each of 48 50 and 59 individually

You may have overloading or intermodulation of some kind .
Splitters should be the F diecast box type rated for UHF and no plastic
open saddle types . ensure any unused outlets are terminated with a 75ohm termination plug Also check MTS and Prime are of good quality in analogue
from the same antenna cable

Use a good quality coax pref RG 6 Belden , TimesFibre etc
